We will investigate what objects are what color, we will be documenting our discoveries in a journal, practicing creating new colors, and sharing our journals with VoiceThread. Label your investigation journal with your name in both English and Arabic. Listen and Read along to Mouse Paint by Ellen Stoll Walsh. Follow the link to the Mouse Match Game. Listen to the color name in English and match the word to the correct mouse. Practice saying the names of each color in English. Click on the Color Links to discover different objects that are of that color. Draw and label one object for each color in your journal.
Story Investigation. Recall the steps each mouse took in the story to create new colors. What would happen if different colors were used? Explore and find out! With assistance share journal findings with teacher and peers. You and or your teacher will record your presentation with the flip camera.
