There are 2 future tenses in Spanish, as there are in English…

The Near FutureThe near future allows you to talk about the future using the structure “ir + infinitive”. It is the English equivalent of “I am going to…”

These are the parts of

’ = to go….

Person The part of ‘Ir’  I Voy You (singular) Vas He/she/it Va + the infinitive (a whole verb) We Vamos (eg. comer = to eat)You (plural) Vais They Van
