General definition-
The difference between appearance and reality, expectation and result, or meaning and intention.

Verbal Irony-
Words are used to suggest the opposite of what is meant.
Ex. “Have a nice day, Jerk!”
2.
Dramatic Irony-
When there is a difference between what a character believes and what the reader or viewer knows to be true.
3.
Situational Irony-
