The goal will be transparency (i.e. only MECAR will be modified).Phase 2 – Replace the rest of the MECAR hardware, either with one for one new hardware or with redesigned hardware with new/different functionality.Phase 3 – Make changes to or replace the I2 console application to take advantage of the new maintainability/extensibility gained by Phase 1 and the new capabilities gained by Phase 2.
