CME /CPD System The UEMS recommends that all institutions that provide continuing medical education programmes on a regional, national and international level are accredited in the European Union. The same is advised for p a ediatric urologist with FEPU certificate. The EBU Accreditation Committ ee developed a credit system to control Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional D evelopment (CPD) activities. Today, the system has grow n into one of the most accepted and recognized in Europe and EU - ACME ( European Urology - A ccredited Continuing Medical Education) is the only valid organization that JCPU accepts . - CME system is a lifelong commitment and CME credits are essential for FEPU recertification process - For the candidates of FEAPU recertification, minimum 250 CME points /5 yrs are necessary for recertification . 125 of this 250 points should have to be taken from pure p a ediatric urology activiti es. To go to the webpage of the EU - ACME Programme, following steps should be completed: - Enter www.eu - acme.org - Click sing in - How to get the password? (see User’s Manual ) write your username and your e - mail address  the message with the link to reset your password will be sent to your e - mail address - By submitting your username and password you will be logged to your new personal MyCME page Here you will be able - To check and edit your personal data - To check the collected credit points - To add the missing scientific activities - To create and print your credit registry report - You may even change your password This is the only way for documenting your personal CME points and scien tific activities!
