Idea Flip

Objective: The student will be able to make a mind map that explains how Buck’s character develops.

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.SL.8.5

Integrate multimedia and visual displays into presentations to clarify information, strengthen claims and evidence, and add interest.

Open the Idea Flip app.

Tap the plus sign in the middle of the screen.

Tap the plus sign in the bottom right of the screen and type in your main idea bubble (characteristics of Buck at the start). You may also change the color and shape of the bubble. The tap outside of the bubble.

Tap on your original bubble so that is has a blue border then tap the plus sign. You will then add a bubble that will branch off of the original. It should detail the next step in Buck’s character development. The process is the same throughout.

When you have completed all of your bubble, tap the ‘”<“ in the top left and tap “Edit”, “Untitled” and then “Rename” at the bottom. Title your thinking map with your first and last name and then tap “Done”.

Return to the diagram view of your thinking map, zoom out so that the whole diagram can be seen and take a screenshot. Email me the screenshot.
