In the Senior Phase young people:
Build on what they achieved during the broad general education which took them up to 3rd year;
Follow a learning pathway that is suited to their ability and what they plan to do when they leave school; Continue to build their literacy and numeracy skills; leave school at the end of S4 if they choose to with qualifications that help them make the step into work, training or further education;
Build up important, skills for learning, life and work.Slide14

up to 5 qualifications in S6 – totalling 17 qualifications over the three years of the Senior Phase.Slide15
