1. From the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) has proactively taken precautionary measures to protect the health and safety of our employees, visitors, and suppliers. After receiving guidance from the National Nuclear Security Administration, the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) is implementing adjusted masking guidelines based on the revised U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. Please ensure your host provides masking requirements. (Community levels will be evaluated weekly and COVID-19 protocols adjusted appropriately)The Department of Energy’s Kansas City National Security Campus is operated and managed by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, LLC under contract number DE-NA0002839 Information Updated as ofMarch 21, 20222022 COVID-19 Pandemic PrecautionsPrior to entry to KCNSC Campuses, the Department of Energy (DOE) and NNSA’s COVID-19 Safety Plans require visitors accessing their facilities:To be fully vaccinated or have a valid negative COVID-19 test result from a certified testing center within three days of arrival at a facility. To provide a vaccination status attestation. These can be found at the entrance of the facility, or e-mailed digitally by your host. Visitors who do not complete the attestation form and, if applicable, do not provide a negative COVID-19 test, will not be allowed entry. KCNSC will not maintain the certifications or negative test results from visitors. However, visitors must keep the attestation form and the negative test result with them during their visit.Upon entry, also review COVID-19 Safety Precautions Training.Honeywell FM&T accepts that federal employees and other NNSA prime contractor site employees are aware of and will comply with federal facility entry requirements and no additional validation is required upon their entry to KCNSC. For the safety and comfort of all, visitors who feel ill, or are experiencing any symptoms, please reschedule your visit. Temperature screening stations and masks are available for use, but they are voluntary. We will maintain the outlined safety practices until the appropriate agencies remove or update their recommendations. Thank you for your understanding during this time.
