[Company Name] Digital SignageTripleSign provides the ability to display a combination of video(standard/high definition), text, images, live data feeds (via RSS) from the customers intranet, displaying of web pages and live TV to screens through the use of an IP set top box (STB) or Samsung SSP screen, based on a pre-set playlist. It provides a media rich environment for delivering a range of services including information, messages, advertising, corporate branding, promotions, broadcast TV and recorded videos. The system can operate as a stand-alone application displaying text and images or be integrated with Tripleplay’s IPTV system, TripleTV to provide a live television broadcast as part of the screen layout.Through its easy to use yet sophisticated security system screen layouts and schedules, it can be managed from any PC within the clients' network through a web interface. TripleSign content scheduling system allows the content to be changed, customised and targeted at specific customers or groups. The system provides the ability to create custom displays on a per screen basis, or to a group of several screens with a common set of features. Being able to configure the content on a per screen basis allows very detailed targeting of content where required, for example, allowing the site to provide content targeted at specific customer screens, for promoting their own brand, products and offers in real-time. This functionality provides the client with the ability to display a different look and feel to each screen within a zone whilst repurposing the same content in different screen layouts. The system is agnostic to screen type allowing the customer to use existing screens as well as new ones. TripleSign also allows an assigned user to make alterations to the current playlist that are made immediately, allowing someone to post latest offers/information, or to make last minute changes, for example. This control is accessed from any PC through the web based management pages, with restricted login permissions available to individual users, to allow them to access a select number of screens for a select period of time. University Canteen Digital Signage [Proposal Name] // [Company Name] // 9

[Company Name] Digital SignageDifferent sites may have a number of screens, each requiring the same or different information to be displayed at the same time. A single STB can output the same display layout to multiple screens if required. A local play out server stores all the images, videos and information required for each STB within a site. There are a number of distinct advantages in using a STB for Digital Signage compared to PC. These include:Physical size of the STBCommercial grade product providing very high resilience, designed for 24/7 operation with limited failure reportsFull remote management and configurationDesigned and optimised specifically for displaying video/mediaStandard based components ensuring longevity of supportPrice per client is lower Minimal threat of PC virusesInstant reboot when crashes do occur unlike PC’s which require physical power cycleMultiple output display formats and types No third party software costs or support issues Highly customisable user interface as all screens provided through web browser Whilst the primary end play out device for TripleSign is a STB, Tripleplay also provides a Thin PC client for flash animation and rich media support. The content management system allows administration staff to load content for use with the TripleSign management software. New College Durham [Proposal Name] // [Company Name] // 10

[Company Name] Digital SignageTripleSign allows the customer to create play lists of different forms of content and screen layouts, which are scheduled and played to different groups of STB or PC’s within the site. For instance, at the start of the day a general welcome video preview may be shown, together with any day specific information shown as text and images. During this period, the video feed may be replaced with a news channel from a live TV feed. After the first hour, screens may be changed to running bespoke content groups for individual screens for advertisements, information and marketing. At the end of the day, the screen may be changed to provide information about exit points from the site, local traffic conditions, or places to eat and drink within the site.TripleSign supports the following content types for use in screen layouts:Images (PNG, JPG, GIF, etc.)Videos (on demand or sequenced)Text (fixed, scrolling or slide show)Live TV (via Triple TV, Tripleplay’s IPTV solution)Social Media* RSS data feedsHTML pagesPowerPoint Presentations and PDF’s Clocks Calendars The Event Management software allows the integration of TripleSign with external trigger devices that when activated, can force predetermined screen groups to display content on demand. An example of this would be an integration into a fire alarm system to display exit notices in the event that the fire alarm is triggered. The event manager supports: BACNET building management protocol SNMP GC100 (physical switch to IP signal converter) Web page trigger*through third party software integration Samsung SSP Digital Media [Proposal Name] // [Company Name] // 11
