imulations have shown the commercial flights will fly as close to the current ground track as can be predicted. The private aircraft show more variation due to the differences in aircraft types, but their ground tracks will also be close to the historical procedure and any dynamic variations that occur will be small as aircraft progress through the valley.•While there can be differences with some aircraft types in some wind/temperature conditions, the goal of these procedures was to update the departure procedure to better follow the terrain and therefore create better safety margins/adherence to current FAA requirements. 2Federal AviationAdministrationNew Flight Procedures for Runway 25 (continued)•In accordance

with Federal Law, the FAA reviewed these revised activities and found them to be in compliance with environmental regulations.•The public may notice aircraft flying slightly different flight paths as they take off to the west from Runway 25 from Eagle County Regional Airport.•As part of the environmental review process, the FAA conducted a noise screening analysis of the new departure procedures.•The results of the noise screening analysis identified areas that could potentially experience an increase in noise. These areas begin approximately 7/10 of a mile from the end of Runway 25, and extend approximately 2.5 miles through the Gypsum Creek Valley.•The FAA plans to implement the new procedures on July 19, 2018.3
