Causes and TreatmentIt is caused by a tiny fungus know as dermatophyte. It also can be induced from person-to-person transfer through direct contact of infected skinMost cases are treated with application of topical antifungal creams to the infected skin
In extensive or difficult to treat systemic treatment with oral medication may be required
