Mexican Rice (Arroz
)Mexican Rice is a common side dish in Northern Mexico.Even outside of Mexico it is popular, like in Southwestern United States.The rice is made by browning the rice in either lard or cooking oil, them onions, garlic or other vegetables are added for more flavor. When the rice has been browned its usually to a slight boil in a mixture of chicken broth and tomato flavoring. Also vegetables can be added like chilies, corn, peas or carrots.
If you get rice in northern Mexico, you are usually going to get the rice made with chicken broth and tomato flavors, in southern Mexico, plain white rice is more usual. But when adding something to the rice will get you more flavor .
“Mexican Rice” is made from the Mexican style.

Mexican Foods
Usually when you hear of Mexican food you think of nachos and tacos. All of the dishes are made off of traditional Mexican ingredients. The original cuisine is healthy and food based on vegetables, grains and spices orientated to the region.Corn is used to make tortillas, tortillas are wraps that are browned in a skillet, baked before being made with all the fillings.The food in Mexican cuisine is known for the spiciness. Lots of the dishes are mild but there are many spices like chili powder, cumin, cinnamon, and cilantro.
Beans are also popular in the dishes providing protein when mixed with corn. A popular dish is refried beans.

Most of the Mexican recipes were made by the Mayas and the Aztecs.Some on the recipes have rattlesnake, spider monkey, and iguana in them.The food evolved within the Spanish colonies.Chili peppers are still very popular ever since the Mexican ages.Some of the food has a French and Caribbean influence.
Most of the food and the ingredients reflect on the surroundings.
