Larger sizes, up to 3000mm diameter, are available but are custom designed. Jacking bands are available in mild steel, epoxy-coated mild steel and stainless steel. Butt jointed jacking pipes have a rebate to house the steel jacking band. The band prevents ingress of surrounding soil and ensures the pipeline is aligned when jacked.
