PTO Board Meeting Stafford Middle School July 18th, 2019 Members present: Daja Veal, Shannon Joshua, Juliet Schweiter, Azy Khanzadeh, Bobbie Wilson, Jayfonia DeLoatch Meeting called to order at 1800 President: ⢠Proposed 2019-2020 Budget ⢠Digital reimbursement forms for PTO expenses â submit to the Treasurer directly ⢠PTO website updates to include links for Shoparoo, Smile Amazon, PTO sponsored events, etc. ⢠Square device to be setup for use at open house ⢠Designated PTO space and inbox for collecting PTO related forms, monies, etc. Vice President: ⢠REMIND app being setup ⢠PTO shirts are in progress â currently awaiting mock up from vendor ⢠Teachers can join PTO for $5 â give back by reimbursing new teachers a set amount for school supplies Treasurer: ⢠Checking balance: $1771.00 ⢠Savings balance: $1000.00 ⢠New cash box ⢠Treasurer specific email address Secretary: No report Hospitality: ⢠Welcome Back Breakfast for Teachers and Staff o 8/5/19 o Donations through sign up genius o $150 budgeted for expenses related to the event ⢠Muffin Cart o Will take place every other Monday starting 9/16 o $200 budgeted to head up the cart o Sign up genius will be set up requesting specific items as well as volunteers Membership/Volunteer: ⢠Open house packets to be made ⢠Square setup to collect membership fees of $5 â PTO to pay square fees associated with dues ⢠Ice Cream Social planned with first General PTO meeting on 9/19 - $100 budgeted for the event Fundraising: ⢠Shoparoo App o Receipts submitted for a percentage back o Receipt collection envelope in each homeroom as a convenience to parents â¢
