INTRODUCTION

The greatest problem we have in church today is IDENTITY CRISIS.

People do not know who they are.

They are like babies who are always struggling and trying to get something or be something.

As long as you don’t know who you are, you will be undermined by everything.

But when you know who you are and what you have, you begin to reign in life.

So there are some basic things you need to know.Slide3

1. You are a new creation.

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (KJV)

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!

It is a metamorphosis of the human nature. It is a transfiguration of the human spirit.

You become born again. The human spirit is recreated. Slide4

You are now of God.

1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

You are now in God class. You become a God-man.

The life you now have is the God kind of life.

2. You have become the righteousness of God.

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.Slide7

The thing that has always separated us from God is the sense of guilt and inferiority complex.

Meanwhile God wanted us as children.

So he had to deal with the “sin” and “guilt” problem by making Jesus “to be sin” for us.

So now He wants us to come boldly.

3. You have become wiser than Solomon.

1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.Slide10

Jesus has become your wisdom.

Now you can understand Luke 11:31.

11:31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

That greater than Solomon has become our wisdom.

So you are wise. You know what to do. You have the answer. It is in you. You are a great counselor. Slide11

1Co 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

1Co 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

1Co 6:4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. Slide12

Another scripture that will inspire you is Job 32:6-9.

Job 32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

You have the wisdom to meet the challenges of everyday.

4. You are the workmanship of God

Eph

2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.Slide14

We are God’s masterpiece displayed in His showroom for public display.

In us He wants to show to the world how good He is, how merciful He is, how powerful he is, how wise he is and how gracious he is.

Why has He invested so much in us?

It is because he wants us to be able to do good works.

Now you will be able to understand 2 Cor. 9:8.

2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
