Weekly Vocabulary
♠ Every week, beginning in Week 8
, students will find the words chosen for vocabulary acquisition provided by the teacher.
♠ In a dedicated Vocabulary Notebook, you should write the words, their definitions as used in the context where found in the textbook, their part of speech (n., v. adj, etc.), and write two original sentences using the word(s) from those Units logically and grammatically.♠ For the Final Exam, all of the vocabulary from all of the GV Units that have been distributed throughout the semester (or before the Midterm for that test) will be combined, and teachers will choose which terms / expression to include on the
tests. (Further directions regarding vocabulary homework will be delivered for additional clarity if needed– if you ask, your questions will be answered.)Slide9
Student Teaching
♠ Every week, beginning in Week 8, a pair of students will be assigned to present a specific Unit from the week’s grammar material.
♠
The presentation should be original (not copied from the text or other source) and be interactive with your classmates (include oral class exercises).♠ Use a PPT for this assignment. Time limit is 10 minutes.♠ Example of an acceptable Student Teaching PPT grammar presentation from the past (half of a week’s presentation): Example Slide10
