JOB SATISFACTION & PRODUCTIVITY

Today’s workforce commonly endures long daily commutes, operates under increasingly demanding deadlines and is often expected to work outside of office hoursAs a result, the lines between WORK & HOME LIFE are continually being blurred

Because employees spend many of their waking hours at work, it’s easy to understand the impact job satisfaction

has on the essential elements of

productivity

: *Engagement & MotivationTeamwork - collaboration within & across divisionsCommunication - free sharing of ideas & breaking down of barriers

Trust between staff & senior managers

Relationships between co-workers – camaraderie & moral supportFeeling respected & appreciated for time & effortPlayBallSportSocial.com Corporate Sports League Program

TEAM BUILDING & COMMUNICATION

*

Cultivating relationships, creating personal/social bonds & new levels of trust.

Breaking down barriers of communication - fostering

the casual collaboration that make colleagues feel better connected & supported.Bringing together different departments & levels of the org chart, on common ground, resulting in a broader appreciation of others and their roles in the company.

Invariably colleagues will talk about WORK –

facilitating discourse

in a more casual,

non

-judgmental

environment.

“Teammates

are more likely to want to avoid disappointing their co-workers while striving to remain

a

cohesive unit, especially when

faced

with adversity

TESTIMONIALS

“As a company, we are passionate about finding alternative things to do to bring the team closer together. Not only do we have lots of fun but we have also learned how to work brilliantly as a team.”

PlayBallSportSocial.com Corporate Sports League Program

“I won’t hesitate to pick up the phone and reach out to my teammates for trouble-shooting,

networking and support.”

“The experience of participating on our company-sanctioned team has greatly helped me in my day-to-day work and has given me a broader knowledge of — and appreciation for — other positions within the company.

I just feel better connected and supported.”

“There’s a huge mental shift that occurs when you go from focusing on you, the individual, to you as a member of a team. It’s a different philosophy - you’re thinking more in terms of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts.”

I completely

agree that sports

give

individuals not only the tools to succeed in the workplace but can bring people in the workplace closer together…we believe that our team builds a sense of camaraderie amongst employees on the field which then carries itself into the office.

“It’s a fun way to relieve stress from work.”

”It’s a good way to network and meet people within the company that you don’t work with on a day-to-day basis - there aren’t any real downsides to being on a team.”

HOW DO I START A NEW TEAM?PlayBallSportSocial.com Corporate Sports League Program

How do I start a new team?

Create an account on the website (http://PlayBallSportSocial.com) via

the

"

Join Us" link in the top navigation bar. From the "Corporate Teams" menu, select the league you want to play - this will take you to its information page with all league details.

Click the "

Team Registration" button. In the "Team Name" box, type the name you want to give your team and select your T-Shirt Size (the person creating the team will be designated the Team Captain - this may be changed at a later date if desired).

Select

either the "

Pay Team Fee

" or "

Pay Individually

button.

Note: Team

registration is not complete until the captain pays either

the team

fee OR his/her individual fee - either option is acceptable to hold the

team

, but one must be completed within 24 hours or the team will not

be reserved.

Once

either option is paid, the captain will see their new team page under the "My Team" tab in the top navigation bar

.

(continued

…)Slide14

HOW DO I START A NEW TEAM?How do my

company mates sign-up to play on the team?

From the team page, captains use the "Invite Players" or

"

Add New Players

" button to email invitations to teammates so they may create an account and join their team (captains may also schedule team events like practices and create calendar feeds/reminders of games, practices, etc.).From the email, teammates may link to the site to create an

account.

Once invited and signed in, players will see their team name on both the website and the league's "Individual Registration" menu - either prompt will allow them to select their team and complete their individual registration. Notes: Players will only be able to join specific teams after being invited to do so by their team

captain.

When

registering, creating a new team, or signing up as a free agent,

players

 will not

have visibility into other

teams registered for their

league.

This

DOES NOT mean there are no teams registered - players don't have this

visibility and

will

only

have

visibility

into their own team once

invited

by their team captain.
