Non-Site Specific(NSS) Cancer PathwayServiceNew Rapid Diagnostic PathwayPatient who is unwellNew progressive pains e.g. diffuse abdominal, bone pains etcSignificant documented unintentional weight loss (>5% in 3 months)New unexplained and persistent non-specific symptoms e.g. breathlessness, nausea, loss of appetiteGP has gut feeling that there could be cancer causing the symptomsPatient does not meet site-specific criteria
4. Non-Site Specific (NSS) Cancer Pathway Service: Pre referralReview your patient face to facePerformed examination to include: Chest, abdomen, skin, breasts, prostate and regional lymph nodes. Pre referral tests to include : Blood tests, Urine dip and BJP, Stool qFIT testFor ease, the blood tests can be requested as group on ICE : GP Main Panel Care Sets NSS Bloods
