Shorter University School of Education Dyslexia Endorsement $1,000/course Shorter University graduates receive a 25% Alumni Discount. Shorter University graduates who completed EDU 4020 within 2 years of applying for endorsement admission, earned at least a B in the course, & at least 75% on the case study assignment may exempt EDU 4022. Thank you for your interest in Shorter’s Dyslexia Endorsement . As of May 2019, Georgia’s governor signed Senate Bill 48 into law. This law provides for the identification of and support for students in kindergarten through third grade with dyslexia. Staying true to our motto “Learner’s First”, Shorter University work ed to develop a path for all educators to receive specialized training in Dyslexia. Shorter University is one of 8 program providers in the state with a Dyslexia Endorsement Program. This p rogram prepares candidates to recognize the characteristics of dysl exia and support students with dyslexia in the field and grade levels of their base certification.
