Jim & Eileen Cude Memorial Scholarship The Jim and Eileen Cude Memorial Scholarship is an open scholarship for any individual who has graduated from USD #286 School District with passing grades. It has been established to assist students who are hard working individuals but who may have not been at the top of their class scholastically and who may not have the financial need that would insure them a scholarship. This scholarship is particularly geared for the person who has knowledge of what they want to do as a vocation and has a clear-headed sense of what further education is needed to accomplish that task. Individuals MAY receive this scholarship for more than one year of higher education IF they apply the following years having achieved satisfactory progress AND are chosen from among all the applicants. The scholarship will be for $1,000.00 to be given one-half at the satisfactory completion of the first semester and one-half at the satisfactory completion of the second semester when the committee receives a copy of their enrollment form. One of the scholarships will go to a graduating senior at USD #286 and up to two additional scholarships may be given each year. The Jim and Eileen Cude Memorial Scholarship will be administered by the Sedan United Methodist Scholarship Committee. * Note: Scholarship awards will be presented to the recipients at the conclusion of the semester, upon proof of satisfactory academic progress.
