Clock jitter tests

2.2.2012Goal: monitor clock jitter during ramping BEAM1 clock more than 10 ramps done different CORDE delay ranging from 4.4ns to 10ns. PbPb 2011 delays were 4.4ns - 6.7ns. also blow-up applied (a slow change of frequency roughly in the middle of the ramp)

13.2.2012Goal: repeat test with magnetic field, blow-ups not applied now several ramps without magnetic field or during ramping magnets CORDE delay: 6670ps solenoid on (-) from 12:50, dipole on (-) from 13:28 last 2 ramps with both magnets on (negative) CORDE: 4390ps from 12:35 CORDE: 8000ps from 13:53

Clock jitter, monitored with scope in persistence mode all the time, was not observed.Slide2
