Atoms have to be in the quantum degenerate regime, so their temperature must be very low. The ExperimentSlide3
-Used in the magnetic trap step, the coil forms are shaped to hold the wire into two circular and one cloverleaf coil.
-There is one set of three coil forms on either side of the MOT. The two sets work together to create a trap.
