A fantastic weekend left Swim Ireland with a haul of medals totalling 11 Gold, 13 Silver and 14 Bronze medals at this years Celtic Cup in Edinburgh. Squad allocations will be sent out individually on 17th November. New Squad Launch!New Club KitNew Shamrock club kit arrived last week at the Irish Open! It was a great turnaround in the time frame for when the coaches requested a change. The kit looked very smart and it was great to see so many divers from the club proud to wear it. There were a lot of compliments from other clubs, there were even other club coaches wearing it! Many thanks to Stephen Doherty for persevering with the change and for Aaron Shearer for delivering just in time!First AidDamian, Francesca and Sarah spent 3 days learning about First Aid for any situation that may occur. Pleased to say they allnow have a qualification in First Aid. This is not an excuse to get injured though. Now winter is coming, please make sure divers wrap up warm after dry dive and pool sessions. A snack in between is great for energy.Drydive to Pool lifts. Lately a few divers have been left to ask for lifts to the pool. Coaches cannot take minors to the pool from the Dry Dive. It is also dark outside now in the evenings so cars are more appropriate than running. Please plan ahead.Slide4
