Mainly focused on reduced consumption o electric power.

OBJECTIVES

To minimize the power consumption by heaters and AC systems in cold countries.

Maximum usage of heat energy dissipated during cooking.

To reduce the electric energy consumption.

To carry out cooking and air conditioning using the same resource.Slide4

COMPONENTS AND MATERIALS Boiler : Stainless steel

Oven : Stainless steel

Turbine : Stainless steel

Heat exchanger : Copper

WORKING

Water is supplied to the boiler from the tank.

When heated, steam generates as well the food in the oven is also gets cooked.

The steam runs the impulse turbine.

Draft fan connected to turbine also rotates.

Heat conduction takes place in the HX.

Thus a hot stream of air is obtained.Slide7

ADVANTAGESMaximum utilization of heat energy.No need of electric current.

Most economical for countries, especially hotels.

Time and money consumption.Slide8

DISADVANTAGESLimited to cold countries alone.Installation cost is very high.

Difficult to maintain.

Very sensitive to small change in pressure.Slide9

CONCLUSIONElectric energy can be saved upto 20%.Can be implemented in cold countries and hill stations.
