THEPSYCHEDELICREVIEWTheTreatmento!FrigiditywithLSD&Ritalinbecomepregnant.Ihavealwaysfeltthattohaveanotherbabywouldfeltatthetime,makesmeappreciatewhatadevastingexperienceitbedisastrous,butsincethelasttreatmentallthepracticalreasonshavewas,combinedwithmytremendousanduselesscompetitionwithmybeensweptasidebyapurelyemotionaldesiretohaveasmallbabytomother.Ifeelenormouslyreleased.careforagain.Itwasdecidedtorestthepatientafterthissession,andsixweeksSecondSession.75/agLSD,20mgRitalinand10mgRitalm.laterbothpartnerswereseenagain.ThehusbandreportedthattheAfterashorttime,IfeltthatIwasatinybaby,sucklingatthepatientwasamuchhappierperson,acalmermother,andwasnowbreast,andIfeltthesecurefeelingsthatitgaveme.Ialsoremem-sexuallyresponsiveonapproximatelyeveryotheroccasion.Thepatientberedbeingheldandcuddledbysomeone,saidshefeltmuchmoreatpeacewithherselfbutstillhadconsiderableIwouldnotletmyselfenjoythesememoriesforanylengthoftime,fearofherownsexuality.Shefeltshehadnotcompletedtreatment.asmymindkepttellingmethatitwasnottheexperiencingoftheseinfantilepleasuresthatwouldcureme,butthatImustfindoutwhatFourthSession.75/agLSD,20rog,20mg,andl0ragRitalin.itwasthatwazsocrushing,thathadcastitsshadowovermyper-AtfirstIhadtheusualturmoilofunpleasantemotions,fear,guiltsonalityallmylife.andadesiretorunawayandhide.AfterthelastinjectionofRitalin,IhadafeelingoffrustrationLater,whenIhadcalmeddown,Ihadamemoryoftremendousandofbeingkeptaprisoner.Idesperatelysoughtreleasefromthissexualexcitement.IfeltthatIwasaboutsixandthatsomebodyhadtension,andIhadthesensationofbeingphysicallyhelddownandofbeen"playing"withmesexually.Ialsoseemedtobenearwater,somethingontopofme.Ifeltthatthiswasanimportantexperience,perhapsariver.andthefailuretorecallitfullyleftmedepressed.Laterthememoryofthisexperiencefadedandafterthelastin-Afewdayslater,thepatientreportedprogress:jeetionofRitalin,Ihadafeelingofdisgust,followedbyadream-likeIfeelmuchmoreateaseoversex,butthisisnotyetright.AlsoIsequenceoflavatories,drainsandrushingwater.havegotovermyfearofspiders.AnotherchangeisthatIamnolongerafraidofbeingalonewhenmyhusbandhastobeawayfortheThreedayslater,thepatientsaidshefeltverytense,thathernight.IfeelmuchmoretoleranttowardsthechildrenandIfeelmoreexperienceoftheassaultwasincompleteandpleadedforanotherconfidentindealingwiththem.Myhusbandhasnoticedotherchangessessionassoonaspossible.ShefeltfairlycertainthatitwasherunclewhichIhavenot,andsaysthatIammucheasiertolivewith.whohadassaultedher.Shehadalwaysknownthat,asachild,sheThirdSession.75/agLSD,20rog,10rog,and10mgRitalin.usedtostaywithheruncleandauntwholivedontheThames.IfeltIwantedtoremembermyfirstawarenessofsexualityandHersummaryofthesessionfourdayslaterwasasfollows:whathappened.ThensuddenlyIremembered.Iwasatinybabyaboutsixmonthsold,lyingonmybackwithmylegsintheair,withnoFi[thSession.80/agLSD,30rog,20rog,andI0mgRitalin.clothesonandmyfatherwaslookingatme.IwasawarethathewasIhaveputoffwritingthisreportbecauseIamveryreluctanttomaleandIwasfemale.HewaslookingatmyprivatepartsandIputdownonpapertheincidentwhichIhaveremembered,andamsoexpectedhimtoreactinanapprovingway,buthedidnot.Icannotashamedof.rememberexactlywhathisreactionwas.ItwaseitherindifferenceorIremembermostlytheemotionswhichwentwiththisincident.Idisgust,butitwasnotwhatIexpectedandwasashatteringblowtorememberthefeelingofsexualexcitement,ofknowingwhatwasmyself-esteem.Ifeltthatherewastheveryessenceofmyfemaleness,happeningandthefeelingsofdisgustafterwards,butIcannotremem-andtheonemaleImostwantedtoshowapproval,didnotdoso.Ihertheactualphysicalcontact.Afterthelastinjection,Icouldremem-seenowthatthisinfantilerejectionwasthereasonwhyIfelthavingherbeinghelddownandtheuncontrolledlustfullookonmyuncle'sasurgicalinductionwithmyfirstbabysuchaghastlyexperience.Itfaceabsolutelyvividly.Itwasasthoughithadhappenedyesterday.wasmuchmorethanjustembarrassmentthatlfelt.IthinkwewereonthebankofariverundertreesandIhadaIfeltthatasababyItriedmorethanoncetogainmyfather'sfeelingweweredisturbed,butitwasnotclear.Ialsothinkthatmy'approvalandfailed.IfeltthatforsometimeIwascompetingwithmyunclemayhavegotmeinthisstateofexcitementmorethanoncemotherformyfatherbutinthcendshewon.becauseIseemtoremembertwoseparateoccasions,oncewhenIwasLookingatthesessionafterwards,itseemshardlycrediblethatthissittingonsomethinghighupandoncewhenIwaslyingdown.incidentcouldpossiblyhavehadsuchashatteringandlastingeffectIhavestillonlyexperiencedpartialreleasefrommytensionanduponme.BeingabletolivethroughtheexperienceandfeelthewayIsexualdifficulties,andstillfeelrathershockedanddepressed.454455 THEPSYCHEDELICREVIEWTheTreatmento!FrigiditywithLSD_RitalinAtthenextinterview,shestatedwithembarrassmentthatsheandguiltthatIhad,andamabletoenjoyina*'downtoearth"andhadrememberedundertreatmentthatherunclehadperformedhealthyway.IngeneralIfeelmoreconfidentandmature.Iamnowpreparedcunnilingusonher,aperversionofwhichshewastotallyunawarepriortogomorethanhalfwaytomakefriendswithpeople.Iammuchtothesession.Sheagreedthatthewholeepisodeneededclarificationhappieraboutexpressingmyviews.withanothersessionbutwasmuchlesspressingthanformerly,regard-IknowmyhusbandfindsmemuchbettercompanyandIhavealngimmediatetreatment.ShefelttheendoftreatmentwasnotfarmuchmorepositiveapproachtohimandlifeingeneralsandIhaveoffnow.muchmorepatiencewiththechildren.IhavescarcelygivenathoughttotheincidentwithmyuncleandShestatedthatshehadalwaysknownthattherehadbeenawhenIhave,Ifeltcompletelydetachedandunemotionalaboutit.violentquarrelbetweenherfatherandheruncleaboutthistime,andDuringtheinterview,ittranspiredthatshehadhadafullandthatshewasneverallowedtostayinheruncle'shouseagain,completelysatisfyingvaginalorgasmoneveryoccasionexceptonce,Afurthersessionwasarrangedintwoweeks'time,ofwhichthewhenshefeltparticularlytired.Shelookedmuchhappierandwasfollowingishersummary:nowclearlyatpeacewithherselfandhersurroundings.SixthSession.80FgLSD,30mg,20mg,and10mgRitalin.FurthertreatmentwasconsideredunnecessarybypsychiatristandUnderthedrugIhadthefeeling'thatIwassearchingforanideal,patient.e.g.,thefirsttimeIwassexuallyaroused,andthemanwhodiditwasasortofgodtome.Thenthingsbecameblurred,butafterthesecondConclusioninjectionofRitalinIrememberedwithcompleteclaritythatIhadAcaseofcompletefrigiditywithoutotherneuroticfeaturesisenjoyedmyuncleplayingwithmyprivates.TheenjoymentwasreportedwhichhasbeenfullyrelievedaftersixsessionsofLSD.broughttoanabruptendwhenhetriedtorapeme.IrememberThepatientre-experiencedsexualexcitement,rejectionandguiltfeelingablowintheareaofmyvaginaandafeelingofforce,buthecouldnotreallyenterme.Therethememoryends.Icannotassociatedwithherincestuousfeelingsandpossibleassault.Sheim-rememberwhattheoutcomeofitallwas.provedasaresultofunderstandingthat,earlyinherlife,sexbecameIhavefeltmuchmoretranquilafterthislastsessionthanIdidassociatedwithfear,violenceandparentaldisapproval.afterthetwovariousones,andthephysicaleffectshavenotbeensoHerhusbandreportsthatthepatientisamuchhappierandmoresevereastheywerethetimebefore,relaxedperson,andthattheirsexuallifehasbeenrevolutionizedsoSixweekslaterthepatientwasseenagainandreportedasfollows:thatthemarriageisnowoutstandinglyhappy.Afterthelasttreatment,IhadmyfirstintercoursewithfullorgasmApartfromthiscase,theuseofLSDandRitaUn,withappropriateinternally,whichwasacompletelynewandwonderfulexperience,psychotherapy,hasclearedupfrigidityoccurringaspartofapsy-MysexuallifeisnowcompletelydifferentandIgetawonderfulchopathologyinsixteenotherselectedcases.Itappearsmoreinforma-feelingoutofitonmostoccasiom.Themarriageisnowverymuchtiretoreportthisonecaseindetailthantopresentasummaryofallbetter,butIbelievethereilstillroomforimprovementandformetheothercases.tofeelcompleteecstasyoneveryoccasion.Asshewasimprovingsteadily,itwasagreedtoleavefurtherSummarytreatmentinabeyance.Somepatientsmaycontinuetoimproveand1.Truefrigidityisacommonproblemingynaecology.gaininsightforweeksandoccasionallymonths.2.ThespecialitiesofgynaecologyandpsychiatryoverlapinmanySixmonthslater,thepatientreportedasfollows:syndromes.PsychologicalfactorsaresolelyresponsiblefortrueHerearemylatestviewsonmyprogress.Myleeringstowardsfrigidity,whichisaneuroticillness.sexualintercoursehaveundergonethegreatestchange.Icansay3.Other"symptomequivalents"oftenmaskthis"organneurosis"withnoreservatiomwhatsoeverthatIhaveloatallmyinhibitiomsinceinthegreatmajorityofpatients,thereissomepsychologicalregardingsex.Iamcompletelyfreeofallthefeelingsofdistastecausefortheirphysiologicallyexpresseddisturbances.456457
