Kofo Soyebi B. Sc , MBChB , FWACS (Radiology) Department of Radiation Biology, Radiotherapy, Radiodiagnosis and Radiography College of Medicine, University of Lagos Nigeria I am an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Radiation Biology, Radiotherapy, Radiodiagnosis and Radiography, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine of the University of Lagos, a Consultant Radiologist and seven - year long Head of Department of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital’s Department of Radiodiagnosis. I am also the Procurer/ Initiator and Programme Director of a training and skills acquisition facility called the Centre for Ultrasound Research and Education (C.U.R.E), the 56th Affil iate Centre of Thomas Jefferson Ultrasound Research and Education Institute and World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology’s Centre of Excellence in West Africa. I train Medical and Dental students, Radiography students, Resident Doctors an d MSc Physics students in General Radiology and Ultrasonography. In addition, to help meet the needs of the Community, I train General Practitioners and other members of the Healthcare Team in acquisition of skills in ultrasound practice in the above ment ioned facility called C.U.R.E, located in the Medilag Consult of College of Medicine, University of Lagos. I also function in several capacities within my College, Teaching Hospital, Postgraduate Colleges and on National assignments
