Brachytherapy, using high-dose radiation temporary source implantation, is an acceptable treatment option for select patients. The discussion will review the evolution of brachytherapy from a historical context, providing updates as brachytherapy relates to the advancement of cancer treatment of the prostate and cervix.PresenterMatthew Biagioli, MDFlorida Cancer SpecialistsDr. Biagioli is a Board Certified, Fellowship Trained Radiation Oncologist.
