This past season we had a strong finish with the school’s first s tate placer and CIF champion, 3 league champs, and 4 wrestlers competing in the CIF tournament and two two - time CIF place winners . Reuben Franklin was the 1 st two - time league champ, the first CIF Champion, two time CIF placer, state qualifier (placing 3 rd in Masters) and the first state placer, taking 4 th in the CA state meet. Nick Jazo took 4 th in CIF beco ming the schools only other 2 - time CIF placer. We also had a lot of young wrestlers showing promise that great things are coming our way. The Bronco prog ram has been fortunate in the past and had the support of parents and the community, and I ask for your continued support this season. As the head coach, it is my job to ensure that the Bronco wrestling program instills discipline, character, sportsmanship , and responsibility in every wrestler. My job isn’t just to produce great wrestlers, but to produce great young men and women that will be successful in life. A big part of the Vista Murrieta experience is learning to do everything with CLASS and the wres tling program pride s itself on that philosophy. We will win with CLASS and if we shall lose, we will do it with CLASS. I look forward to meeting all of you at our home matches this season. GO BRONCOS! Completed Athletic Packet : includes physical, proof of medical insurance, and parent clearance 2. Academic Eligibility : All athletes are required to maintain a 2. 0 GPA. 3. All wrestlers are asked to purchase a spirit pack at the beginning of the season , or they can check out gear if needed. 4. Wrestlers will need wrestling shoes and athletic shoes for running . 5. All wrestlers are asked to participate in fundraising activities . Practices: Wrestlers are required to attend all pr actices unless excused by the coach. This includes during holiday breaks . Freshman will need to contact Coach Jarrett about previously planned vacations.
