slide5. ACTION POINTS
2. Each partner appoints a central contact person
who implements, plans, and carries out the OtoControl protocols and
maintains regular contact with the coordinators (Neurophysics and AB)
- Neurophysics: Elisabeth Noordanus
- Nijmegen Umc: Cris Lanting
- Leiden Umc:
- Bensheim:
- Freiburg:
- Berlin:
- Kopenhagen: 4
slide6. ACTION POINTS
3. Each partner initiates the ethical approval at the local center a.s.a.p.
- General patient informed consent form (Neurophysics: in Dutch + English)
Translation into German:
- Nijmegen Umc: m1-m4
- Leiden Umc:
- Bensheim:
- Freiburg:
- Berlin:
- Kopenhagen: 5
slide7. ACTION POINTS
4. Each partner provides a tentative planning for patient recruitment for OtoControl
(recruitment preferrably before the end of 2024, but we can have a somewhat
relaxed time window; we aim for 20-30 users per center, but the more the better….)
- Nijmegen Umc:
- Leiden Umc:
- Bensheim:
- Freiburg:
- Berlin:
- Kopenhagen: 6
slide8. ACTION POINTS
5. Setting up the Data Management: the coordinators WHEN: m3-10
- data file structures for the different data types
(RT, electrophysiology, imaging, SiN, etc.)
- center, unique user ID, experiment, date identification and test block nr. in the file names
(pseudo-anonimised): e.g. NIJ_L06_A01_250624_01.dat
- each center has access to their unique key for user identification
Data files contain only the necessary personal details of the user:
[age, implant info, etiology info, gender, fitting data]
- storage facilities (Sonova and Donders Institute Repository)
- obtain the rules and restrictions regarding data sharing from each partner
- data access permission protocols 7
slide9. ACTION POINTS
6. Setting up an OtoControl website: Neurophysics WHEN: m3-6 (+ ongoing updating)
- for internal communication (shielded)
- for external communication of goals and results (dissemination)
Partners submit information for the Website to the Neurophysics coordinators
(either requested or not requested). 8
