slide1. Methodology for Assessing Suppliers of Oil and Gas Equipment Based on Conformity Assessment Results Tatiana A. Guseva and Alexander S. Panteleev

National University of Oil and Gas «Gubkin University», Moscow, Russia, Leninskiy av., 65
slide2. Relevance of methodology development the methodology is dedicated to the preliminary evaluation of product manufacturers
it is adapted to the needs of the oil and gas complex of Russia
the methodology is based on the results of the conducted conformity assessment, both mandatory and voluntary

As a result, the methodology makes it possible to establish recommendations for oil and gas companies to improve the supplier assessment procedures
slide3. The proposed mathematical model where RCA is the supplier's rank based on the results of the conformity assessment,
PAM is an indicator of the effectiveness of the results of mandatory conformity assessment of products,
PVC is an indicator of the effectiveness of the results of voluntary product certification,
PAMS is an indicator of the effectiveness of the results of management systems audits (or integrated management system audits),
PINS is an indicator of the effectiveness of the inspections,
PABR is an indicator of the effectiveness of the results of assessing the business reputation of a manufacturer,
k1, k2, k3, k4, k5 are weight coefficient of the effectiveness indicators of results of various conformity assessment types: k1 = 5; k2 = 15; k3 = 30; k4 = 30; k5 = 20
slide4. Example of one of the model’s factors where PAM1 is a sub-indicator characterizing participation of conformity assessment bodies (certification bodies and testing laboratories) in mandatory certification and (or) declaration with an accreditation certificate from the Federal Accreditation Service (Rosakkreditatsiya),
PAM2 is a sub-indicator characterizing the testing of product samples with mandatory conformity assessment,
PAM3 is a sub-indicator characterizing the verification of the quality management system (QMS) as part of mandatory certification and (or) declaration,
PAM4 is a sub-indicator characterizing the results of production evaluation within the framework of mandatory certification and (or) declaration,
PAM5 is a sub-indicator characterizing the conduct of surveillance of certified products within mandatory certification,
PAM6 is a sub-indicator characterizing the effectiveness of corrective actions within mandatory conformity assessment
slide5. Assessing suppliers of oil and gas equipment the statements of conformity for eleven Russian enterprises supplying pipes for the oil and gas complex were analyzed
the Figure reflects the calculated ranks of each supplier (from 0 to 100 points), the designations of manufacturers are given in codified form (N1, N2, ... N11)

the high scores are explained by their proactive decision to demonstrate that their products and corporate management system comply with the best international and industry requirements
