Meaning of Sports sociology Sports sociology is a sports science that studies , understands and the analyses social aspect of the behaviour of people like athletes, officials, fans, spectators, or administrators in different settings such as learning, practice, training, competition and of course in general life.<br>

According to GILIN & GILIN “Sociology is the science of social groups….. A social group is a system of social interactions.”
According to MAC IVER & PAGE “ Sociology is about social relationship, the network of relationship, We call society.”<br>
