Level 3 - Professional Education and Knowledge Appraisal Assessment Checklist Please complete this checklist before ordering the PEKA Assessment MPI Level 1 - Essentials of Paint and Painting Technology MPI Level 2 A - Architectural Painting MPI Level 2 B - Maintenance Repainting MPI Level 3 - Inspection Minimum of 10 years in the paint industry Equivalent of TQ (tradesman qualification) Minimum Grade 12 education Proven strong computer skills and ease with various computer programs Proven supervisory skills (ability to guide and instruct as well as control situations) PEKA Assessment The application will consist of a professional resume and should include all paint industry history and certifications. Once the application has been approved, the candidate will be able to purchase the PEKA Assessment, which will consist of 5 case studies (2 Architectural and 3 Maintenance Repainting) to review and complete. The case studies will be evaluated and if necessary the candidate will be asked to have a formal meeting (in person, by phone or via Skype as applicable) with the MPI Technical representatives.
