We are currently looking to recruit a Supply Chain Implant to be seconded to work from the Head Offices of one of our Yorkshire based customers. Within this role you will provide support and interaction between the customer and Arla’s operational departmen ts such as Demand Planning, Commercial, Customer Service and Transport, maintaining and developing positive working relationships in order to enable a more collaborative approach to working. Key responsibilities within this role will be to create statisti cal forecasts by analysing historical sales data and future insight. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues both in Arla and with the customer, representing Arla professionally throughout. Monitoring and analysing results and KPIs to take corrective action and ensure improvement, balancing availability against stock holding and waste, you will work cross functionally to ensure agreed plans for seasonal events, promotional activity, new store openings and new product introducti on. You will conduct end to end supply chain reviews to identify potential opportunities for cost savings whilst maintaining stock levels within agreed tolerance. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a hig h volume supply chain role within a food retailing or FMCG environment. You will be degree educated in a business or related discipline with an understanding of store operations and requirements. With proven problem solving skills and a strong customer foc us, you will be methodical in your approach with the ability to build positive relationships.
