ACULTY ADVISING

Each student

is assigned

a faculty adviso

r

.

This assignment will

remain

the

same until

a

student

has

only

one

semester

remaining

in

their

curriculum

or

unless

the student chooses

to change

advisors

for the purpose

of

obtaining advice

related to a

particular

specialt

y

. Students are required to meet with Patty for advising when they have "one semester to go."

The

primary

purpose

of the

advisor

is to assist the

student in planning

the academic

program

to be followed

by that student.

The

faculty

role

is to provide advice;

the

ultimate decisions

are

the responsibility

of the student.

The

student

is

responsible

for

seeking

advice

from his or her advisor

at least once

a

semeste

r

, prior

to registering

for the next

term.

Y

ou will

be notified

when your advisor

is assigned.

Lists

are

updated

each

Fall

and

are

found

here
