The armbands integrate a collection ofbattery operated electromyographic (EMG) sensors in conjunction with other builtin orientationbased sensors[6]. Gesturerecognitiontaxonomy was implemented referencingthe work of HitLabNZUniversity of Christchurch. Their study ‘Userdefined gestures for augmented re-ity’ [5]recordsextensive blind testing of various hand poses or ‘tasks’ that might be implemented within an AR related interface.
