slide4. WHAT ARE ITS OBJECTIVES? Contribute to coherence within the EU donors community
Benefit from a wide range of organisations active in the field to encourage an integrated, pluralistic and innovative approach to European development cooperation, implemented as efficiently as possible.
Strengthen cooperation, links and complementarity between European development players with a public service mission.
Create opportunities for cooperation and synergies at the implementation level.<br>
slide5. HOW IS IT ORGANISED? General Assembly:
Main organ, composed by all Members and meets at least once a year.
Defines PN strategy and determines PN budget, among others.
Steering Committee:
Comprises 6 Members: 3 Members represented by the incoming, current and outgoing Presidency and 3 other Members appointed by the General Assembly.
Prepares and implements decisions taken by the General Assembly, promotes PN representation at European level and can act as PN face in dealings with the European Commission and other stakeholders.<br>

Composed of the previous, current and future Presidency.
Guarantees the strategic continuity and ownership of the PN.
Presidency:
Rotates with a 1 years´ nomination. Volunteers or is appointed by the General Assembly.
Calls, organises and chairs PN meetings, ensures PN public relations and promotes its representation, among others.<br>

slide12. Working Group - EFFECTIVE PARNERSHIPS Promotes general mutual knowledge, effective coordination enhanced partnerships among and between Members and the European Commission
Objectives:
Strengthen mutual knowledge and exchange in order to fully foster the principles of the Network.
Contribute to improved joint implementation practices.<br>

Working Group - CRISIS, FRAGILITY AND MIGRATION Promotes knowledge sharing, effective coordination and mutualisation of capacity for analysis and implementation to strengthen the collective EU response towards resilience in situations of crisis and fragility, by combining the comparative advantages of European aid actors.
Objectives:
Strengthen mutual knowledge and exchange among PN members and between the PN and the EU institutions.
Contribute to EU effective coordination, mutualisation and joint implementation in fragility contexts.<br>
slide15. Working Group - COOPERATION WITH THE PRIVATE SECTOR Exchanges among PN members but also with the Commission on the ever-increasingly important role of the private sector in development cooperation and fosters a formal private sector in partner countries.
Objectives:
Facilitate European Commission to disseminate information and engage with European member states organisations on respective initiatives, such as the EU External Investment Plan;
Operate as an informal source of information, guidance and consultation with regards to the implementation of such initiatives and knowledge on blended finance;
Search for the development of (possibly joint) new approaches to increase impact of private sector engagement for development.<br>
slide16. Task Force - CULTURE FOR DEVELOPMENT Sharing knowledge, expertise and best practices, among PN members, on Culture and development policies, programs and activities, as well as working on how to best contribute to the 2030 Agenda through Culture.
Objectives:
Define a common concept of Culture as a tool for sustainable development; and
Outline a strategic approach of Culture in development cooperation actions;
Identify best practices on how to work together on Culture and development;
Identifying institutional partners outside the PN.<br>

Task Force - TEAM EUROPE Facilitating the communication channels between the PN EU MSOs and the Commission services and create a platform for exchanges on PN EU MSOs contribution to “Team Europe” and reflexions on methodological approaches Objectives: Strengthen role of European technical assistance in the effective contribution to a more coordinated and coherent support to our partner countries in addressing the COVID-19 crisis and its long-term consequences
Foster synergies and complementarity between TA and financial development cooperation
Provide the platform for open exchanges and information sharing at technical level between the PN MSOs and the Commission services on NDICI, programming, “Team Europe” approach<br>

LATEST ACHIEVEMENTS (1) Set up a high-level dynamic and strategic dialogue among CEOs of PN members to identify and implement joint initiatives: first concrete output was a joint PN members “Declaration on synergies with Public Development Banks” within the framework of the Finance in Common Summit in Paris - November 2020
Created a Team Europe Task Force to stimulate exchanges and the co-creation process on PN EU MSOs contribution to implement Team Europe Initiatives
Enhanced External/Internal communication: Improvements to and development of PN visual identity tools (newsletter, JI brochure, renewal of the website, PN video presentation, Joint Implementation Database)
Conducted a joint EU-PN study on the potential of mobilising Member States Public Sector Expertise in Development cooperation for an EU value-based external action<br>
slide19. LATEST ACHIEVEMENTS (2) PN played a more active role in fostering exchange of information and experience with other stakeholders (EDFI, ETTG, AUDA).
Organised Green Deal ad-hoc workshops in order address the operationalisation of the external dimension of the EU Green Deal.
Organised a PN workshop in the field to reflect on and stimulate Joint Implementation practices.
Conducted workshops on Migration, Crisis and Fragility and its four preparatory sessions;<br>
