Animals at Melbourne Zoo

Slide2

Melbourne Zoo is home to many different animals.

I

might see the animals. They can’t reach me.I might not be able to stop for long at each animal. There is a lot to see at the Zoo.

Slide3

Animals at the Zoo live in special homes called ‘enclosures’.

It might be hard to see the animals in their enclosures. I might not be able to see them.

Some animals are very good at hiding.

This is because they like to have a quiet place to go and hide.

Slide4

There are

some animals

that have enclosures that I can go into.

I will be safe and so will the animals.

I will try to stay on the paths and not enter enclosures unless I’m told I can.

Slide5

There are areas in the zoo that may feel hot.

That is to help the animals stay healthy.

If I get uncomfortable I can tell an adult with me and they might take

me out.

Slide6

There are areas in the zoo that are dark.

That is to help the animals feel safe, and it is safe for me too.

If I do get scared I can tell an adult with me and they can take me out.
