Slide7Overview of FFSPA Kinship Navigator Provisions Must be coordinated with other local agencies that promote service coordination or provide information and referral, including 2-1-1 or 3-1-1 where availableMust be planned and operated in consultation with kinship caregivers, organizations representing them, youth raised by kinship caregivers, relevant government agencies and community-based or faith-based organizations.

Slide1212What is the Evidence-Base for the Programs Examined?FFPSA of 2018 is creating Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse to review and rate prevention programs Ohio Kinships Supports Intervention (KSI) submitted to California Clearinghouse (CEBC, 2018) and needs to be evaluated and rated. Florida’s KIN-Tech and New Jersey’s Kinship Cares
will be first reviewed by the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse Washington Kinship Navigator Program submitted to CEBC not rated yet. As of December 2018, UW will begin evaluation for FFPSA review.
All other 6 programs unknown whether they are seeking evaluation as EBP and/or how the new FFPSA legislation will affect them
