Julian Omidi and Dr Michael Omidi NO MORE POVERTY was founded by the Omidi brothers Julian Omidi and Michael Omidi MD Moved by the daily struggles of the impoverished throughout this world they established this notforprofit charity to support dedicated individuals and compassionate charities that are truly making a difference in the world. Julian Omidi recently refocused his main energy on philanthropic activities and providing aid to the less fortunate. Earlier this year, he and his brother Michael Omidi, MD founded the charity No More Poverty. The organization seeks to end poverty at home and abroad by supporting the efforts of like-minded charities and agencies. Current efforts are focused on increasing awareness of and donations to charities already doing great work to address poverty and its staggering effects throughout the world. Dr. Omidi grew up in Orange County and attended the California State University, Los Angeles for his undergraduate studies. He received his MD degree from the Saint Louis University, Missouri with distinction in research. Dr. Omidi is a fully trained general surgeon and a fellowship trained plastic surgeon. After finishing additional training in craniofacial surgery in Miami, he moved back home to Los Angeles, California where he has a successful plastic and reconstructive surgery practice. Besides his practice, Dr. Michael Omidi works with charitable and humanitarian organizations to improve the lives of children and adults around the world. He has contributed time and resources to various causes that promote the advancement of medical research, educational programs and helping the underprivileged.
