Thomas Woznicki appears to have changed his middle name from James to Suchomel at some point in time although the reason for the apparent change is not clear. This document contains copies of numerous letters of application that Thomas Woznicki submitted to Wisconsin school districts between February 2011 and September 2013. The letter on the first page is called a “Woznicki Notice” and was sent to Thomas Woznicki on July 12, 2011. Thomas Woznicki subsequently invoked the “Woznicki Rule,” seeking to prevent the New Richmond, Wisconsin school district from releasing his personnel records. According to the document on the first three pages, Thomas Woznicki’s “reason for leaving” the Florence County, Wisconsin school district was that his position as Superintendent “was reduced to .6 FTE.” However, the email to Thomas Woznicki on the last page (sent by Florence County School Board President Jim Churchill, Jr.) appears to suggest a different reason for Mr. Woznicki’s departure from the Florence County, Wisconsin school district. Note the reason for the address verification specified by Mr. Johnston in the first email, which appears to reference the “Woznicki Rule” notification requirement applicable to public records requests in Wisconsin.
