Puffell is a great tool to introduce as part of reviews and on initial diagnosis, these are the times when they will be focused on their condition
Explain to your patient that Asthma can be controlled well with good care and management – Puffell is there to help and support them
Encourage them to log on and to start tracking their symptoms and encourage them to share their tracking with you at reviews or when they come back inSlide26

Setting up your own Practice Based Asthma Group?Puffell offers the ability for CCGs and practices to set up their own groups.Your asthma lead could set up a group and invite patients to join it. They could use the groups to seed discussions, remind patients of things like flu jabs etc.
Groups encourage patients to engage not only with the practice but with each other. They offer a great platform for peer to peer support.
You can set up a group by simply clicking on the groups function on the left hand menu and the clicking on create a group.
You can set different groups up in your practice and are not limited to just AsthmaSlide37
