Postures or times
There are no specified postures or times prescribed in the Bible as a rule for us.
But various postures are noted:
Standing, sitting, upturned faces, heads bowed, eyes open, eyes closed, kneeling, raised hands, prostrate. Slide6

Not all prayers are acceptable.
Pray in the name of (by authority of) Jesus.

Eph. 3:14-21 is a great example of a prayer.
Reverence, family, petition, strength, comprehension, know the love of Christ, be full of God.
God can do much more than we ask!
To God be the glory!
