Wilson Solar GrillSlide2
For people especially American, barbecuing is the greatest thing for American to spend their time in weekends but there is some downside.
Barbecuing needs something to be burned like charcoal, wood chips or propane so it would be hot but what if then these things gone all of a sudden.
What is the Problem?Slide3
An MIT professor named David Wilson invented the first solar power grill.
It use solar power so, it store the sun’s energy and every time you want to use it will use the stored energy and it will keep storing the sun’s energy.
The solar power grill uses a technology called Fresnel lens to use the sun’s energy to melt down a container of Lithium Nitrate.
The Lithium Nitrate acts as a battery storing thermal energy and release the heat every time you turn it on.
What is the invention that is made? Slide4
It helps to save charcoal, wood chips and propane because it use the sun’s energy not by using the usual things to grill.
And of course it decrease the rate of deforestation and the women that is raped in Nigeria just to chop woods for cooking and that is why David Wilson have the idea to make the solar power grill.
How does the invention help the problem?Slide5
Normally you need charcoal, wood chips or propane to grill but it uses solar power.
S
urprisingly the battery or the Lithium Nitrate storing thermal energy for 25 hours at a time and cook over 450 Fahrenheit!
What so special about solar power grillSlide6
People now no need to worry of buying charcoal, wood chips or propane because they just need solar power to grill a beautiful meat.
Positive Effects on PeopleSlide7
People in Nigeria cut down woods to cook their food and the one’s who cut down the wood is the women and now they are struggling to get wood but since there is the Wilson solar power grill, they don’t need to struggle to get cut down wood.
Positive effects on SocietiesSlide8
Environmentally it reduce the air pollution and the deforestation in the world.
Since air pollution is really affecting the world so, the solar power grill really helping the world
Positive effects on EnvironmentSlide9
It is useful towards the society because people start to buy thing that is environmental friendly and that is why it affects the society to buy the solar power grill.
SociallySlide10
Economically the charcoal, wood chips and propane right now is expensive and that is why you should buy the solar power grill.
The price of the solar power grill is still unknown but it will be sell by in a couple of years
EconomicallySlide11
Environmentally it save natural gas, reduce the deforestation, reduce the air pollution and protect the nature around us.
