Non-Medical – Using PART

Call PART

The Positive Approaches Resource Team (

PART

) is a resource available to support and assist SCFF staff when they are faced with an overwhelming situation with the individual they support AND/OR in the event of a true emergency.

You are in a situation where the individual, other residents, staff or community member’s safety are in jeopardy and there is an imminent risk.

Identifying & Elevating

New Needs & Issues

Non-Medical – Using PART

Call PART

(continued)

Staff are feeling overwhelmed and recognizing that their responses to the person or their approach to a situation is not helping the individual get their most pressing and basic human needs met.

Whenever 911 is called to the CLA or to a situation in the community, the PART team should be notified immediately so that there is adequate staff on-site when the

police

or ambulance arrives.
