Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) is a leading research university with a specialization in business studies, ideally located in the vibrant international city of Shanghai. Perennially, SUFE is inviting foreign professors from around the world to teach in Shanghai for the SUFE Joint Undergraduate Program (JUP) - a young , yet dynamic academic program aiming to equip SUFE stu dents toward success in the increasingly connected world network of economics and cultures. Spring Term: February 1 to June, 17 teaching wee ks 2. Fall Term: September to January, 17 teaching weeks 3. Summer Term: July, 4 weeks Teaching Mode Normal scheduled course or intensive scheduled course Course Credits Two credits course, three credits course and four credits course . T eaching time per class: 45 minutes O ne credit requires 17 classes Work Load Per course credit: 17 hours For a three credit spring term course, the work load is 51 classes at 3 classes per week (17 x 3 = 51) . ee credit summer term course, the work load is also 51 classes, but weekly teaching hours are distributed at 12, 13, 13 and 13 classes in four weeks. Qualifications 1. Doctoral degree 2. M ajor related to Economics, Finance, Business (e.g. management, accounting etc.) 3. Experience, at least 2 years or more of teaching experience Salary RMB1000 per class hour, after tax, which is a package price including teaching compensation, international and local travel expenses, insurances (medical and others) and accommodation expenses. The salary will be paid in RMB.
