PPE for all situationsMinimum PPE Requirement+ additional PPE for aerosolised proceduresAdditional StepsAmbulance tech in room?Level of Ambulance and equipment cleanPatient WITHOUT respiratory illness (cardiac, trauma) and no know contact with symptomatic relativeApron and gloves, eye protection, FRSM (fluid resistant surgical mask) at all timesFFP2/3 Mask, visor/gogglesClosed endotracheal suctionYesTo wear apron and gloves , FSRM for patient contact and all clinical areasMust be >2 metres away from pt during aerosolised proceduresStandard clean with Clinell wipes to include staff and parent seatsPatient with respiratory illness and/or fever >37.8 (to include suspected COVID19) and Confirmed COVIDGown and double gloves, FFP3 mask, visor/goggles and theatre hat. Tape gloves. Wipeable shoesClosed endotracheal suctionNo Trolley set up by tech before taken into room by clinical teamTech to assist with Comms as necessaryAll clinical areas FSRM at all timesIf NO AGP in vehicle - Standard clean with Clorox wipes/1:1000 sodium hypochlorite solution PLUS wipe down of ambulance (top to bottom including staff and parent seats) and leave vehicle open to air for 1 hourIf AGP in vehicle – Wipe down with Clinell wipes of all equipment and stretcher and place back in ambulance for deep clean – contact SJA CATS V4 06/04/2020

If you are wearing an apron and glovesYou must Doff (take off) all your PPE’s carefully as trained to:Gloves (as they will be the most contaminated part of kit)Apron rolled in on itself and thrown away (as you have been shown for a gown) or GownVisor/ gogglesRemove mask Wash handsAny questions ask, or go on GOSH intranet and look at PPE guidanceMOC,PR, MC &CER.17:00hrs 17th March 2020
