Cosmetology contests for SkillsUSA Texas District 4 will take place on FRIDAY,

2/17/17 in the Industrial Technology Center Atrium

Cosmetology Skills Contest

will begin

at

8

am

Cosmetology Quiz Bowl will take place on Friday after all cosmetology related contests are completed.

ALL COMPETITORS will take a

SkillsUSA

Knowledge Test prior to the beginning of their contest to be used as a tie breaker if necessary.

PROJECTS MUST HAVE THE SCORE SHEET PRINTED AND TURNED IN WITH PROJECT NOTEBOOK THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN GRADED BY THE ADVISOR.

NOT be supplied

at the District or State level. The contestant will need to furnish all needed items for their contest at the District Conference and at the State Conference.

Contest will style the hair with blow dryer and fingers only.

Steps must be followed in exact order.

Contestant may use a prop in describing the benefits of natural nail care products and/or services.
