Some types of deafness are treatable through cochlear implants. These are electronic devices that turn sounds into electronic waves that can be transported to the brain.Slide6

Deafness can make regular communication extremely difficult. Even so, People who are deaf can communicate through sign language. Slide7

Deafness can vary from partial hearing loss to complete silence. It can also include a ringing in the ears. Deafness can also mean a loss of some tones or pitches. Slide8

Deafness can be caused by loud noises, damage to the inner ear or cochlea damage.Slide9
