If your organization was recently acquired, we’ll start counting from your most recent hire date at your original company. Salaried associates are eligible to enroll for benefits between the date of your first paycheck and prior to the 60th day after your date of hire. Coverage is effective on your date of hire.

How do the HRA plans work?

Walmart Pays

HRA CreditWalmart provides HRA credit which is automatically used first for eligible medical expenses

Associate Pays

Deductible

Once all HRA credit is used, associates pay full price for eligible medical expenses until they meet the annual deductible

Walmart Pays

Out-of-Pocket Max

Finally, once associates meet the annual out-of-pocket maximum, Walmart pays 100% of eligible medical expenses for the remainder of the plan year
