4. Why Do I need itWith the Covid-19 outbreak, remote participation has become crucial for the work of the organizations.Flexibility:No need to be physically at the meeting. Participate from wherever you are using your desktop, laptop, tablet or smart phone and using any device and platform (Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android)Save Time and Money:Many companies cannot afford to pay tickets and trips for their employees anymore. You can reduce costs and time and still participate Increased productivity:Increase the meetings productivity by allowing remote participants to collaborate as if they’re in the same meeting roomSupport SDG 13 “Climate Change” Reducing physical travels and hence carbon emissions4

Remote Participation in ITU-T (TSB)TSB provides three main types of remote participation in order to facilitate access to its various meetings:Physical meetings with remote observation (webcast) Hybrid meetings (Physical meetings with active remote participation)E-meetings - fully virtual meetings5
